Your Visit to the Archives

Between November 23, 2018 and August 1, 2019, the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan’s offices are consolidating into one location in Regina. Our office in Saskatoon will be closing to the public effective December 21, 2018.  Regular public reference service hours in Regina will continue until further notice.  Please contact the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan (at 306-787-4068, Regina) prior to making any travel arrangements to conduct research.

The Provincial Archives is a public service institution dedicated to encouraging and assisting everyone who is interested in exploring our province's history. While our website provides access to hundreds of thousands of record descriptions, full access to the records is best achieved through a personal visit to our reading rooms.

The Provincial Archives has offices located in Regina and Saskatoon. Our Regina reference services reading room is located at 3303 Hillsdale Street. Our Saskatoon reference services reading room is located in Room 94 of the Murray Building on the University of Saskatchewan campus.
